Magdalena Stoyanova

Magdalena Stoyanova is from the village of Gabrene, near Petrich in the Blagoevgrad Region. She graduated in singing from the National School of Folk Music in Shiroka Laka. ShemajoredinFolkSinging at the MusicandArtsAcademyinPlovdivand is scheduled to obtain her Master’s Degree in MusicalPedagogythis year.

Q.: How long have you been involved with music?

A.: I’ve been singing since I was 6 years old.

Q.: From which geographical area is the costume you wear on stage?

A.: From the Central region of Bulgaria – Sredna Gora.

Q.: Your favorite performer?

A.: I think that all folk performers, especially those from the previous generations, have contributed immensely for the development of the Bulgarian folk song.

Q.: What is the Cosmic Voices from Bulgaria Choir for you?

A.:-Something I cannot go without.

Q.: A favorite memory from the stage?

A.:-When I feel the joy the audience is experiencing.

A.: As the call, so the echo!

A.: Music to me is a way of life.

A.: The desire to grow and develop.

A.: The moments of pure joy.
