Tatyana Velikova-Marinova
Tatyana Velikova-Marinova from Sofia graduated at the Academy of Music,Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv with a degreein Folk Ensembles Conducting and a professional qualification in Teaching and Performing of Folk Singing.
Q.: How long have you been involved with music?
A.: Since I was very young. I’ve been doing music intensively and systematically since the 6th grade.
Q.: From which geographical area is the costume you wear on stage?
A.: From the Shopi folklore region.
Q.: Your favorite folk song?
A.: I don’t have one. But some of the songs I prefer are Dimitar Kara Gemia performed by Valkana Stoyanova, Lale Li Si, Ziumbul Li Si performed by Verka Siderova, Vila se Loza Vinena performed by Kalinka Valcheva, A Lamb is a-Crying performed by Boris Mashalov.
Q.: Which is your favorite song from the repertoire of the Choir?
A.: It’s Shareno Horo and Zaburil Beh Da Se Jenya with arrangement by Gancho Gavazov.

A.:-A choir with a future.
Q.: Your favorite Bulgarian proverb?
A.: A kind word opens even the sternest doors
Q.: What is music to you? –
A.: It is life; it is another world and an inexhaustible strength. Music is part of me and I am a part it.
Q.: What inspires you?
A.: Various things. Nature, feelings, relationships!
Q.: What are your dreams?
A.: Dreams are sacred.

A.: The moments when I hear the silence in the audience.

A.:-Love. Love when you feel it, when you give it, pure undemanding love.
